Review of Benjamin Button by LUIS LA TORRE

Every year I wait around for this time of the year for the famous "Oscar Worthy" films, in the summer however you watch the big blockbuster with a lot of special effects, or simply you please the women by watching a romantic love story. Benjamin Button was all of that and way much more.
When I go to the theater to this kind of films I expect to be moved whether by a broken heart, or by the death of someone close, the reunion of people you love, or the simply by the sincerity of the film.
The story of Benjamin Button is such a well written film, that you can tell in every section of the film that everything was very much thought out. Being the movie that it is, a man born old getting younger, you have to think about every detail what a life of man would be like if it would be backward; and David Finch and the writers portrait that so well.

I give Benjamin 5 of 5, and the Official selection of CCAD film society.

  1. I also loved the film! After seeing the movie I was informed that the movie received bad reviews from critics and I think that's insane! Well thought out movie with really simple and subtle special effects! 5 out of 5 from me as well Luis!
